We believe that every Christian is a minister who has been given gifts, talents, and resources to be discovered, developed and deployed for service in the Church and world. Each of us is called to participate in the outreaching ministry of Jesus Christ. John Wesley described this quite simply: “Do all the good you can, in all the places you can, to all the people you can.”

Leland Community United Methodist Church is a very giving church, our mission work takes many forms. The congregation’s Missions and Outreach Committee provides practical and/or financial support to a number of organizations from the Committee budget and from funds raised on Special Giving Sundays.
